About Frostmoon

Frostmoon is the name of one of my main characters on Proudmoore USA. Frosty as everybody use to call him is considered one of the top five percent of healers in World of Warcraft prior to the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. What made him great was how good he was as a healer with gear and skill. Understanding gems, enchants, and what spells to cast when was the major thing that helped him. What helped me play him though was addons like Healbot and Grid / Clique.

I have played every class to a large extent including raiding as a DPS member, a healer, and a parital tank. Before the Burning Crusade was released I was one of the first Holy Paladins on the Lightbringer server. People thought of me as crazy that I could not heal a 10 man Scholomance raid, but I did it very easily. This is how I gained a lot of respect from people in general as I was their goto healer for many instances and raids. I was in a guild at the time with the Order (now Immortal) and we ran through all raids including MC, BWL, AQ, and Naxx. I know the ins and outs of World of Warcraft as I was the guild master of a Crimson Reign when it was around. While not a large guild, we had more respect from the larger and more sucessful guilds because we were able to go through most content just two months before Wrath of the Lich King was released. Our first weekend we cleared every boss inside Karazhan except Nightbane and Netherspite because the group was not geared enough for those fights. A couple weeks later, and more Karazhan runs we ran through Gruul’s and Mag’s Lairs very quickly and started going through content in ZA. By that time the expansion had been released, if we had a few more weeks on our hand we would of been through SSC and TK very easily.

While I started the guild, I could not do everything by myself. We had an awesome tank, healers, and great DPS to help speed things through along.

Due to NDA’s that are filled I can not talk about my previous experience working in the gaming industry. I can tell you though that I am a programmer and a graphic designer and I’m working on obtaining my degrees in Computer Networking, and Networking Security. Yes I am an IT nerd who knows Linux, Unix, BeOS, Windows, and Mac.
